Skills and Drills: The Fundamentals of Basketball and Much More is a 24-page booklet that serves as a practice guide for developing players. The booklet is published by Kipnes Family Publishing of North Andover, Massachusetts. KFP specializes in booklets for active youngsters. Over 28,000 copies of "Skills and Drills" have been sold to recreation departments, youth basketball associations, schools, YMCA & YWCA Boys and Girls Clubs and summer basketball camps throughout the United States

The booklet is ideal for boys and girls, ages 8 to 18, and is a handy guide for youth basketball coaches. All fundamentals are covered and drills are provided to help the young player improve in all skill areas. What  makes the booklet unique is that all drills can be done alone. This way, a youngster can practice and improve at his or her own pace.

The booklet also includes discussions on strength training, agility, nutrition, and positive thinking.

"Skills and Drills" is written by Barry Kipnes, a veteran of 34 years of coaching. He has also directed summer basketball camps for 20 years. In addition, Coach Kipnes has spoken at dozens of camps and clinics and specializes in individual skill development.

Kipnes Family Publishing also distributes booklets on baseball and softball hitting, physical fitness and sports skills, and a pamphlet with dozens of activities for parents and children to do together.
